Yes, and good luck. AOL is the worst at putting other software on your computer with it. If you uninstall AOL there might be 5 other programs that were installed with AOL that will need to be removed separately.

REMOVE IT!

I advise you remove whatever you can of AOL from your system. AOL wants you to stay with them, so they stick AOL crap all over your computer that is nearly impossible to get rid of. Try doing a pc search and if anything says AOL, delete it. And I don't mean to burst your bubbles, but if you spend 4 years trying to remove AOL junk, it'll still never be officially gone. If you wind up getting a new computer, don't bother with AOL.

Someone warned me about AOL a few years ago. He said AOL is like a virus, it also shuffles your files around and downloads software without your consent.
When I finally got round to removing it I unknowingly removed parts of files from other software on my computer. My mate came round to completely re-boot my computer from scratch.
The sooner you get rid of that the better.
AOL should be listed in the virus alert section to warn off other potential customers who may be tempted to install it.

Yes get rid of AOL, uninstall it as per usual. I had to run a search and list the AOL/DSG demo in files and folders and deleted what was listed and that got rid of the annoying pop ups I was still getting when I was booting up my computer.

There should be no problem removing it from your PC. Just go to control panel, add/remove programs and see if there's a registered AOL program there, You can then uninstall it from there.

Yes, I would get rid of it - you'll have some fun doing it as AOL seems to invade all parts of the computer, but you'll be ok if you're careful - good luck.
