If you have successfully Installed winzip. It would register zip files to open with winzip. Just double click the file then is should open.

If the file types are not registered by winzip it will be opened by explorer if you are using windows xp. In this case right click the zip file then select 'Open with' then from the program list select winzip.

I think this will do.

Check on the winzip site for help. The program also has full instructions included - see the "help" pull down.

Once installed, .zip files are automatically registered to open with Winzip. Simply open them by either double-clicking (use the left mouse button on your mouse), or right clicking and selecting open with Winzip.

Remember that after 30 days you will have to pay for Winzip. You may be better off sticking with the zip facilities already available for free with your operating system.

well just double click on the file and it should automatically open with winzip. personally winzip sucks ***, I suggest downloading WinRar. its easier to use and extracts the files better than winzip

double clicking it should work. if the file association is not set, right click on the file, select open with, and then click winzip.
