This sounds like the work of the Church on Gods behalf to me. What do you think?

if your saying that the Church's went mad with power, then your sorta right, I am a christian, but my dad makes a very good point, some Church's are so stuck up with being perfect that they become hypocrites. that's why my dad doesn't go to church (he is a christian too) and some Church's think they can change the world by force and that's wrong too, so there's never going to be a good answer here, but it is the work for gods behalf but people are actually serving different gods most of the time. so you can't blame it ALL on Christians, but they are part of the problem, and so are people who say they don't want anything to do with any religion, because their mostly fighting to get rid of it, and that's causing problems too. but you probably knew that.
PS, very good Q hope you get as good a answer

All religions are working hard to see the elimination of all forms of these evils. None in their right spirit, has made any teaching to their followers to do evils. Anyone doing it in the name of his religion is sick. He is instantly not the true follower of the religion as he acts against the teaching. I avoid the mention of the Church, because the church is a place for people who worship God to meet and God is pure and righteous and merciful, if any wrong is done, it is the responsibility of the people gathered there and not God or the Church per se, unless the group of the people who call themselves 'church' but that is sacrilegious. However, the Bible did have records of God in his wrath might have meted out death punishment through his believers on people whom he considered to be extremely evils. Well, he did instruct dead penalty of all the first born of Egyptians recorded in Bible. Jesus himself has also warned people not to defile the Holy Spirit, severe penalty may be resulted and that could be death. Such incidents of death of a couple who deceived the Holy Spirit were recorded in the book of Acts.

Man caused all these things to happen, not God. Everyone says these questions about god allowing or causing stuff to happen. Understand that their is evil and the Devil is what causes evil in the world. God gave us the free will but also gave us the instructions that if we lived accordingly we wouldn't have pain and suffering in the world. War, prostitution, murder, rape, perversion etc. are all sins and the bible describes why there are absolutes and why sin has a negative effect. I honestly don't know all the answers how all diseases started but we caused many of them to happen to ourselves. Sexual diseases. The food we eat today has brought on diabetes and cancers. The food we eat also has been proven to cause psychological disorders and stress (caused by man) is what triggers psycological disorders. We are damaging our planet and now pollution and radiation is affecting us and unfortunetly its going to get worse. I don't blame god for these things, I blame people for the sins they commit that affect others negatevely and the harm humans are doing to the planet thats causing harm to us. Our world could be a lot better today if man didn't screw it up.

I agree. Especially with the war part.

With the fall of the Roman Empire, the librarian of Alexandria was pulled off her carriage and skinned alive. Literacy dropped. Even the Pope had to have the Bible read to him. In the first crusade, Christians killed tens of thousands of people they called "infidels". The Children's Crusade (1212) caused the deaths of nearly 50,000 children. Preachers sentenced to death and executed thousands during the Inquisition (1233-1834) for heresy and witchcraft. There were the Salem witch trials (1692) in America. The 17th Century Thirty Years War (Catholics v. protestants) wiped out tens of millions in Europe. In the Taiping Rebellion in China in the 1850's a Christian cult started a war that resulted in the slaughter of twenty million people. In the Holocaust six million Jews were murdered. Muslims and Christians in Bosnia reached a death toll of over 250,000.

I think it indicates we are in the final part of the "last days" of this wcked system of things which is currently under Satan the Devil"s evil influence.
Satan and his demons have been given a death sentence and soon God will, by means of his Son Jesus, carry it out and no more will mankind have to deal with any of those things.
Psalm 37:9-11--"For evildoers shall be cut off; but those that wait upon Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall not be; yea, thou shalt diligently look for his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

It's all suffering that is caused by Karma, by humans being selfish and out of control, it can end through awareness and through the realization that we are all one and the way you treat another will come back to you. Practice meditation and be in the present moment and you will find the way to end suffering by following the middle path.

According to your closed mind and version of the church of God it is, and no one will be able to convince your concept of it, until you stand and be judged for every idle word written and spoken - and this too shall be used against you - unless you repent - you too will perish. WHO WILL RESCUE YOU? FROM THIS TORMENT OF THE FLAMES IN WHICH YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF INGULFED WITH?
