what is ermeto coupling ?

I am guessing but it sounds like a quick attach/release coupler, like would be used for pneumatic(air) tools, or hydraulic system...where the tube is easy on easy off and the end is sealed to prevent lose of pressure...like they use at the "quick lube" shops to dispense fluids?
I am just guessing
