they don't really. It's your mind playing a trick on your taste buds. you probably associate the cut of your sandwich with someone or sometime of comfort. The memories are triggered by the sight giving you that warm fuzzy feeling that you used to get... feel free to indulge. I won't eat my sandwiches any other way lol

Try triskaidecagonal sandwiches thier 13 times better than triangular ones

Well, it is probably just because when you bite into it you are thinking that it will taste better than a normally cut sandwich, so it is in actuality a delusion of the mind.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who loses sleep over this important question!!!
I think its because when you make a sandwich, you can never get all the filling right into the corners, and as thick as in the middle.
Soooo.....
If you cut a sandwich diagonally, you get the 2 points which have less filling in, but still taste gooood, and the middle bit, which has loads of filling in it, and no crusts to get in the way of the good stuff.

Because you don't have a crust in the way, if it was cut in a rectangle, there is a crust on 3 sides. On a triangle it's only 2 sides. You can eat loads of the good bit without the crust getting in the way. I don't know if this is why but it's my theory!

stable question i like them in squares till i became twenty 2. Then I have been given uninterested in the style and my mum decrease them in triangles and it made each and all the version and that i under no circumstances went returned . yet i became in simple terms thinking the different day the comparable component and how i could decrease them in a different way for yet another era of my life and all i could arise with is the two sized strips. Bingo!
