Both my sons did the same thing. My eldest didn't ever stop though. He's 3 and has conversations with people who aren't there. Last year my husband got a phone call from his father to say his grandmother had died. My husband's family all live 400 miles away and my son never meet his great granny. At the time of the phone call, my son was in his bedroom having his nap. when he woke up later, he walked into the room smiling and clapping, holding his arms up. He then pointed upwards and said "nanny nanny wuvs yooo" He has a friend called Adam who bugs the hell out of me cos he keeps moving our stuff lol.

If your baby is staring into space maybe he is really looking at something, something like angels. they really do exist and often play with little children, because their souls are open to the spirit world they can see them and we can not. watch the baby see what he or she does ,when they act this way you will be able to tell when the angels are around not that they are not around us all the time because they are but you will be able to see them playing with your child. it's a beautiful thing when this happens.

If he is younger...this is normal. When they are babies, their eye sight is poor and haven't fully developed.
