It can and it can cause you lots of health problems too. You will not gain weight if you can not keep food in your body, but you will also remain in the restroom most of the time.

BAD IDEA!!! Not only does it deplete your body of its vital nutrients it also will make you body dependent on it to have a bowel movement at all. I do think that cleansing is very important to your over all health however. there is a terrific new nutritive cleanse at www.youngliving.com/MARYKING1 Unlike traditional cleanses that in a sense starve you for 3-5 days it has a supplement you take called balance complete. once you complete your cleanse, continue to replace 1-2 meals a day with that to help with the weight lose process. keep in mind that you should also include 2 snack a day of fresh fruits and veggies. This balance complete is full of nutrition that you should be feeding your body daily. I believe that you should make a habit of drinking at least 1 a day whether trying to lose weight or not! Please don't starve your body!!
