Jesus was not a Vegetarian.
Luke 24: 36-43
36While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
37They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have."
40When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?" 42They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43and he took it and ate it in their presence.
Eating meat is not a sin. He did not eat "unclean" foods though as the Mosaic sanitary portion of the law stated. (Leviticus 11)
However, God's original intention was vegetariansm for all mankind.
Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. Genesis 1:29 (New International Version)
Also Daniel and company were healthier than the others by eating only vegetables.
Daniel 1:8-16
8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. 9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and sympathy to Daniel, 10 but the official told Daniel, "I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your [c] food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you."
11 Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, 12 "Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. 13 Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see." 14 So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days.
15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. 16 So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.
God designed all life. Therefore he knew whats best for us to eat or not.

I don't think the Bible ever records that Jesus was a vegetarian. There were records of him feeding the five thousands with five loaves and two fishes. I suppose he would have taken some himself as all of them were hungry. Anyway, he even prepared morning breakfast with fish for his disciples who went fishing after the crucifixion and burial of Jesus. So Jesus was not a vegetarian. Why should he be? He promised a great feast is waiting for the believers when they all are gathered in heaven.

I don't think it does. I mean he helped collect fish.
I read in the gospel of Phillip about our eating animals(meat). If I remember right it was said something like,"Is not man more beloved than all the animals on earth? And even though birds are in the 'heavens' are we not cherished more by God? If a man eats a lion that lion becomes man but whoa to the man who gets eaten by the lion. Is it not better for the lion to become man?" Technically when we eat an animal the animal becomes part of us. You be the judge.
