No, don't blowdry while scrunching. You just scrunch it with get after you towel dry it & while it's still wet. Brush it out 1st before doing this, though. If it won't curl at all, you could try some gel made to curl your hair. Then, if that doesn't work, you'll probably have to get a perm in order to do your hair the way you're wanting.

What you need to do is make sure your hair is wet when you do that. This is how I do scrunched hair:
1. Brush my wet hair
2. put gel or mouse in my hair ( a lot of it)
3. scrunch my hair
4. scrunch and blow dry at the same time
5. I let it air dry but that is up to you!
Good Luck!

You can't curl straight hair with just gel or even by blowdrying. Either go to the salon and get a perm, or have a friend perm it at home with stuff you get from Walmart. They also make temporary perms, like they last 7 days I think.

You need a diffuser attachment on your blow dryer. It basically drys your hair in the curly state.

your best bet would be to just get a perm.. it will look much better then just blow drying it with gel. :-)
