So many people being killed in the world and our own main religion seems to be saying ONLY they will get to heaven. I thought Jesus was about Truth and Love?

It depends on what you call truth and love.

It depends on which christians you talk to.

ALL Christians teach that you must be born again.

SOME christians believe that not all who don't believe will perish.

The truth is that there is no consensus as to what the entirety of truth really is among Christians.

Jesus himself said he was "the way, the truth, and the life." Jesus is the Gateway to Heaven. None may approach the Father except through the Son.

Christians didn't make the rules, we just follow them.

All religion, by it's very nature, is exclusive rather than inclusive. One can only be included if one agrees with all tenants of the religion and believes that the definition of god therein is correct. The moment you disagree, you are excluded.

Jesus himself said that you have to be born again to get to heaven and if not then you will not even be able to see heaven.
