I'm looking for a photo of the racehorse Tate Gallery. He is by Northern Dancer out of Fairy Bridge and is full brother to Sadlers Wells. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Tate Gallery sadly died in October 1990, after only 3 seasons at stud.

He stood at Coolmore Stud in Fethard, Co Tipperary, Ireland. You could try contacting them to see if they have any old photographs on file.

Alternatively, I have found a photograph of the horse in Sires For 1989, a directory of Thoroughbred stallions which is published each year by Pacemaker publications. You may be able to pick up a back copy on Ebay, or via a good bookshop like Tindalls in Newmarket. Alternatively you could contact the publisher to see if they have an old copy on file: Tel 01635 35566 or email info@pacemakerworld.com.

The national Gallery is the extensive gallery in simple terms north of Trafalgar sq.. It has Van Gogh's Sunflowers which i think of is spectacular and next to it relatively is the national Portrait Gallery which commonly has large photographic exhibitions. All galleries and museums are unfastened in London so no reason to no longer do any which you fancy. The Tate Britain is classic paintings and is on the embankment. The Tate modern is extensive and around the Millennium Bridge from St Paul's Cathedral. in spite of in case you do no longer understand modern paintings, the development itself and the huge installments in the main turbine corridor are nicely worth a circulate to as is the view from the abode windows. The Tate modern additionally has a pretty eating place serving acceptable type nutrition and drink.
