are you showing your faith by not backing it up with reason? Do you agree that this age is the most "unintellectual" age, in terms of defending your faith, the world has ever seen? Do you believe in 1 Peter 3:15,16 and live your life accordingly?
If they ask questions, I point them to the cross. If they want to attack, bring it on! Are you a gutless Christian who cannot stomach the evidentuality of debating with anyone, EVEN from within the faith? Jesus Christ surely didn't sit on his hands while they were trying to trip him up!

me ?? not gutless but most have dust on their Bibles and just listen those who tell them repeatedly what they want to hear which is often that their group is superior thus accentuating the differances and in the end not studying to get to know the mind of God better. Seems to me if they love Him they would use every tool at their disposal to get to know Him and not just the one in the pulpit.

as you can see they are not interested in challenge only in conformity to what they believe. Growth is not an option I guess.

This is not a debate forum so unless you want to seem like a street corner preacher ranting on a 12 step program, your limited in your response. Its better this way, we can actually respond as Jesus did, with intelligence, not retoric.

hi,
my dad always says that 1 peter 3:15 and 16 are very important verses and i also believe that every christian must be ready to give a defence for every question and everything we say must be based on the word of GOD but not on human creed

Is your question directed to church people? I don't know any Christians.
The religion of church people is not the religion Jesus had. This may be obvious to any thoughtful person who has studied the four biblical accounts of Jesus' ministry.

"If they ask questions, I point them to the cross. If they want to attack, bring it on! "

You're the one doing all the attacking, bub. I think they're just waiting for your little tantrum to wear itself out. Then maybe you can be approached with reason.

but according to the cult myth, he allowed them to string him up. basically, it was an act of suicide.

anyway...you cannot apply reason to a cult. a cult, like christianity, is the absence of reason, logic, intelligent thought and real education. unfortunately, most of those people indoctrinated into it are brainwashed from birth and fear any other scenario. i don't blame them (you) for it, really. but it is sad.
