Indonesians are pragmatic people.
Its good that some of the Hindu culture is still with you its a big part of your history and deserves to be preserved.

I'd want to take a closer look as to why people converted from Hindu to Muslim. I'd suspect the reasons would be a lot more murky than because Islam is "The True Faith".
Mostly because no religion is.
As things stand right now, the sooner militant Islam goes, the sooner we'd have some peace and quiet for awhile. Until the next fanatic fad comes along.
