The "t" was probably a "g" because I've never heard that before

There are several variations of the name Orlaith, but they're all pronounced "orla". If you look up www.namenerds.com or www.irelandseye.com or wikipedia, you can see that it's always pronounced the same no matter which spelling is used.

Correctly in Irish it is "Órlaith" The little mark over the Ó lenghtens the vowel. In Ireland we pronounce it Ore-Loh which ever way it is spelt or whichever language we are using. I have never heard it pronounced Or-Lah except by skangers and scobies
