Just had my wisdom teeth out this AUgust and my dentist gave me Cubroprofen and Codeine. You should be able to get the Cubprofen over the counter. I took these as directed. If you can get that, any ibuprofen would work.

You can try going to the ER, just telling them you're having pain in the back of your jaw. Chances are, they'll prescribe you an antibiotic and pain medicine, and tell you to go see a dentist (which you're planning on doing anyways). That way, you might be able to get some relief from the pain until you can get into the dentist.

If you look in the phone book you will find 24 hour emergency dentists if the pain gets to be too much. Otherwise I would say anbesol on your gums to numb them until Monday if you can stand it. Maybe some tylenol unless you have some other stronger pain killer.

If you are swollen, it sounds like you have an infection. You should go see a dentist right away because it sounds like you need some antibiotics. See this link on wisdom teeth: http://www.smileconnection.com/DentalHealth/ThirdMolarWisdomTeethExtractions.aspx it is helpful.
