They couldn't have been that bad, your tapping away on the computer today. Most likely the insurance company will laugh at you. You certainly won't get any settlement. They might cover medical but I doubt it.

Um.. well.. you call and say.. "I would like to set up a claim for an injury i got in an accident yesterday"
Depending on the state- you may or may not have coverage for your injury on your policy- your adjuster will let you know.
Seeing this is likely your fault (being the only vehicle involved and all) dont expect a settlement or anything above and beyond your medical expenses (not saying thats what you want- people on here just surprise me!) but some of your medical expenses may be covered under your policy

As a accident investigator, i would need a great deal of evidence to confirm your story before an insurance company would even start to consider your claim
firstly are you comprehensively insured, where and what happened , who were your witnesses, did the police attend , if not were they informed formally of the incident, Medical evidence such as your GP report and or Hospital report.......If you can produce all of these then you may have a case for a claim for injury. Also you don't mention what damage you did to your car and or any third party damage or injury ...do you see where this is going !!!!

There look a number of elements which favor to be looked after. First, why have you ever lost your NCB ? this can in effortless words were cancelled by technique of your insurance employer in case you had made a declare adverse to them. truly you haven't carried out this ? All claims for this reason, in the adventure that your information are properly acceptable, should be adverse to the different motive force's 0.33 social gathering element in HIS insurance. i can't understand why your potential employer must have taken this body of ideas. truly a letter out of your own insurance employer may have set their minds at relax ? you also could have recommended them to the contact the police, who must have a list of the incident. Why is your own insurance employer attempting to the contact the different motive force ? they should be operating by skill of his insurance employer, in a roundabout way with him. It does look that your insurance employer has no longer carried out/isn't doing their activity real. i imagine your first step is to cajole them to extract their digits, and get you some pride - it is why you've paid their insurance excellent classification. Oh, and one very last little bit of advice - do not attempt this everywhere in the 'telephone. no longer till you're recording all of your 'telephone calls! positioned it in writing, and do not settle for a 'telephone call as an authentic reaction.

You report the claim to them and they will tell you what coverage will apply for you and if there is coverage for medical bills and/or wage loss. To clarify, you don't get to make a liabiilty claim for pain and suffering against yourself/your insurance. You would need to have first party coverage that covers this.

Why do you need to make a claim for your own injuries!!!?!?!You'll lose your no claim bonus.
But if you really want to...........ask the milkman?? Or use a bit of common sense and try calling your insurance company.

Call your insurance agent. They'll get the ball rolling.
All that you'll get is your hospital bills covered. No lost wages or pain and suffering. That assumes that you have medical payments coverage. If you don't have that, you won't get anything from your insurance company.
