We very much enjoyed our all-inclusive trip to the Hotel Riu Taino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Riu is a hotel & resort company.
There were very few children, most young adult to middle-aged couples. Really great food (American, European, local, fresh fruit & vegetables, seafood, etc.), good beach and small reef, nice sunrise (beach faces more or less east), good service, nice rooms.
Riu is a Spanish company. I think a lot of their customers are European. Most people were quiet and polite, not a bunch of yammering people and poor-mannered kids.
I think it's a great place to just relax and unwind.
Different resorts in the area, even within the Riu chain, will have different levels of amenities and costs. I think ours was pretty much in the middle of the road. About 5 years back, it cost us just about $1,000 apiece for 9 days, airfare from Boston included. We went right on the edge of the beginning of the rainy season - a little cheaper than in the middle of the busy season.

i could actual recommend Nassau, Bahamas. There are 2 all-inclusives i could recommend there for specific. we've been to Nassau thrice! the 1st is the Sandals Royal Bahamian hotel. This one would be greater high priced in spite of the undeniable fact that it particularly is fairly advantageous. the different you'll be the Breezes hotel down the line, in direction of downtown. it particularly is in all possibility greater value-effective and frequently alot of exciting. there is lots to do at the two one in each and every of them. Sandals is sweet sized because you could discover ways to scuba dive jointly as you're there. and that they take you on dives (lined). Breezes has greater deliberate activities, if that's what you're after. I get exhilaration from myself everytime i pass, it particularly is plenty exciting!
