Their is a major differece between the two words as you said . Yup! The words seem to be same , but they have a different meaning .

The difference between love and loving are given below:

1. Love : When you love something you like that thing or that person . . Ex: You love your mother , its natural . Because she has given you birth and has raised you and taught you good manners and carried for your happiness and comforts . You love childrens because they are the most beautiful flowers of all .

2.Loving : When you are loving someone you are trying to love . or you realised suddenly that you are enjoying wiht him or her .That time you are trying to like that person and want to spend your life her . That was my opinion . Thanks for sharing your question with my view . In future I would like to see more of you . Allahafiz and take care .

You can love just about anybody. You love your family and friends but being in love is so different. It's that feeling you get every time you're in the presence of that special somebody. It's those tingly feelings you get in your stomach when they touch you. It's just knowing that you could spend your life with this person.....There's so, so much to being in love!!!

i take loving someone as caring for someone. for example you may love your mother, or your sister, or your pet dog. But you cannot be IN love with your dog. Being IN love is that special chemistry you have with another person. That person maybe being your future significant other.

These types of semantics are for mostly for immature people, and they don't mean much, basically.

There is such a thing as having true love, but it has to do with unselfishness, and not many people know what it is.

Nope, when you are in love with someone, you are loving him like , it's not just like "like him". You can only loving him so to be in love with him. Confusing right. Ask yourself do you need him. Mentally.

You can love your family...but you're not IN love with them...you can love your friends...and then some of your friends you fall IN love with.

Loving would be a caring kinda love...IN love is passion and lust and romanics.
