I have an old bottle of Asti Spumante. How can I find out how old it is?

Why would you want to know? Asti Spumante does not age too well.

You can try to contact the winery, but that is a mass production wine. Buy a back-up and go ahead and open the Asti - it's not made to age.

The vintage should be right on the bottle. The vintage is the year of the harvest.
