God was not made you silly goose! God was from the beginning and the beginning could not be made because there wasn't anything before the beginning just as there is nothing after the end. God is outside of time. Like in a circle which keep going without a break with no beginning and no end everlasting. While we are inside time with a definite beginning and an end. Now those of us who are going to heaven will join God in his never ending circle and those going to hell will join Satan in his Eternal Ball of Fire. Yea that's it. I should get ten points for dreaming up that excellent explanation. xx

First, your question shows lack of understanding of who "the One True God" is, for he cannot be a created being, else the one who created him would be God, being the "First Cause" clause. (I use him in the technical sense not in the male-female sense) God has made himself known, he has self-revealed himself to his creation. He is not a creature of anyone's imagination! For there is none that could have conceived of a God that has been revealed. This God that has been revealed in the Holy Word of God. There have been many testimonies by other religions of who or what or how many god's and goddess' they have. However in the Word of God the Holy Bible the Self-Revelation of God is paramount to His nature and person. This is a faith based issue - to which no one can make you believe - you have to accept the God of the Word - the Holy Bible as the One True God - to come to any knowledge - personal, empiracal, acceptable and applcable truth in your life. The choice is yours given to you by being created as free-moral agent - yet you will be judged on how you answer, and how you recieve him - so choose wisely (The Last Crusade - Harrison Ford) choose Christ and have life or reject Him and reject eternal life. It's up to you now.

How do we exist? How does our existence come from, or begin, when we discover the possibility of nothing?
The short answer is that God, like the elements, forever existed in some form or another. In the original form, I like to call it 'possibility'. Take a sheet of paper. Look at it. What do you see? If you say you see nothing, then that is because, at that moment, that is what the paper contains. Next, draw a word. Where did that word come from? A word cannot come from nothing. But, you remember that there were no words there when I asked you to look.
It is not that they were not there, it is that they were not there in a way or form you could recognize. They existed in 'possibility'. From possibility comes everything.
Erase the word. The paper again contains no more words. Where did they go? Did they exist? If they can exist for one moment, and be gone the next, did they ever exist? Into possibility returns everything.

Depends on which religion you're referring to.
Judeo-Christian G-d alwasy was, since He is outside time.
Other religions' dieties were born, or created in the minds of men.

For every "created" effect there is an antecendent cause. But God has no cause. Otherwise, you would have an infinite regression, which is impossible.

God has always existed. He is beyond time and space. He is not a created being----he is the Creator. this is impossible for us to understand because we are finite and limited beings. Somethings are just beyond us and we must accept this.
