I was never really sure until two major things happened in my life. The first was when I was in surgery in 1995 and I died on the table. I found myself in a peaceful meadow surrounded by people I had lost in the past. Suddenly a voice that was so huge as to be unbelievable told me that it was not my time yet and that I needed to go back. I woke up after surgery and told them that I had died before they could tell me.
The second was when I was working on a CNC machine in Detroit in 1997. I slipped off the cutting deck and should have smashed face first into the serrated steps on the ladder in front of me. Instead, I felt a hand press into the center of my chest and I stopped. My left foot was still on the deck and my right was on the floor.
I realized then that not only is there a God and Heaven, but that Guardian Angels are real and really do help you when you really need it.
I am sure of my religion.

I am sure that it is right for me.

I'm sure that the creation stories of my religion are just that - stories. I'm sure ALL creation stories are just that.

I'm sure that it is one of the religions that doesn't call it's followers to make others "wrong". That's one of the reasons that it's right for me.

I'm sure that the more I learn about how the Universe works, the better I"ll understand the Divine. I love it that Paganism isn't in conflict with Science.

If you consider Buddhism a religion... which I don't... then I recognise my Dharma as the truth, in that case I suppose that you can say that I am sure of my 'religion'.

For me better to say that I am sure that I am on the Eightfold Path, this is the truth. If I was to say that I believe that I am on the Path I would be lying....I don't lie...

Is it better to lie to prove a case for religion...? No..!! It is better to keep silent then you will not cause pain to another being...why should it be necessary to prove to anyone that you are who you are...you are therefore it isn't necessary .....anything else is self serving..and..a waste of time...

As sure I can be. Which is noticably short of absolute certainty, on philosophical grounds.

I didn't come to my current position at all easily so I know what I believe, and why, and what the other options are. That makes for a fairly solid stance, apart from those pesky "unknown unknowns".

And I'm very unsure about anyone who professes absolute certainty.

I'm very comfortable with being a Wiccan. There is a God and Goddess, but One over all. I like that.

The Bible even says, "We are made in God's image. Well there are two images of us.

So I am comfortable with they're being to images of the One. That represents us, or we represent them, either way.
We are all still the One. We are in the One and the One is in us.

That might not be what ya meant, but that's what I believe.

It's an established religion with the Counsil of Churches.

While I question and wonder a lot about it, I still feel very sure about my religion. I can't give you any tangible proof, but I just know.

I am certain of my religion. Positive that it is right for me. By knowing that my faith is right for me, I am able to respect the faiths of others. Religion, to me, is a personal choice that should be held with honor and honored in others.

I discern, I think, I read, I meditate, I use my education and experience, I ask, I try, I compare and after 20 years of serious aproach to Buddhism I know that it is true and that I am on the right path

I am an Atheist, and I'm pretty damned sure. But part of me is always open to hearing evidence that there may be something more out there. I just haven't heard that evidence yet.

To speak candidly, I'm EXTREMELY sure of my religion. There is NO doubt lodged in my heart of my religion. I'm a sound believer.
