mini dachshund?

we will be getting a mini soon ,, we are gone all day ,, what should we do first? it is an 8 week old. how are we going to train a dog not to go in the house , with us gone all day?

I have had 2 of those dogs and no matter what, and how old they have been, they go in the house when you are gone. My girlfriend has one too and it goes in the house. I think they must have small digestive systems that makes them not able to hold it in. We put up a fence and kept our dog in an area where there were tiled floors so if he did go, it would not mess anything up. I suggest a doggy door or something.
