When you teach it not to do this, that is when he will stop. Also, keep in mind that puppies teeth and learn about their surroundings with their mouth.
Get a puppy kong and fill it with yummies and give this to him to chew. Also, crate training will keep your pup and belongings safe.
There are other things you can do, as well. But this should get you started.
BTW, do not "frighten," hit, yell or spank the dog as this will cause him to fear you, and become aggressive. Positive techniques work well and better, and are very important to use with pitbull type dogs. I own/rescue pitbulls, so I know the breed and what I'm talking about.

15 weeks is still very young. I would get a squirt bottle and everytime he does something that is undesirable, like play biting, squirt him just a bit. It will take a little, but soon he will associate the two and just stop doing the thing that he has associated with being wet.
When he starts chewing on something, take it away, tell him "no" in a firm, gentle voice, and give him something he CAN chew on. At that age, they are teething and just like human babies, need to chew on stuff to relieve the pressure on the gums. There are actually puppy teethers at the pet stores, which might be a good investment.
Also, when he does something bad, tell him NO and then ignore him. Dont even look at him. AmStaffs and pit bulls alike strive to please their owner, and if he sees you are upset with him, he will try and make it better. And if you ignore him, he will learn that he doesnt get attention if he is bad.
If later down the road, if he is still being a naughty puppy, seek out a dog trainer. They can be loads of help!

I agree that is a domestic dog difficulty not a breed certain difficulty. As many right here have reported that is excellent to say "ow" or "no" and then ignore about him (you may even favor to go away the room for a jiffy). He received't like the actual incontrovertible truth that his well known play toy (you ) has left. make confident that any one interior the residing house follows the regulations at the same time as it comprises him utilizing his tooth. Consistency is the most important element at this factor. If anybody treats him the same way the on the spot that tooth contact pores and skin or clothing (because that's an extension of you) he desires to be instructed that what he's doing is erroneous and then omitted for a jiffy. at the same time as he does play acceptable make confident you tell him what an excellent boy he's!! good success with your pup!

Belive it or not, he doesnt intend to hurt you or anyone! Could have been taken away from his litter mates too early or be a slow learner lol
Pups "fight" and hurt each other till they realise the boudried between and gentle bite and one that hurts, basicaly when he bites a bit hard, over exadurate the pain, YES im afraid this means screaming like a sissy lol but he'll learn, if that fails, a quick repremand "no" or at worst, push him away and dont have anything to do with him, till you feel he's been punished enough.

You need to put your foot down right away. The longer the he gets away with it, the worse he will get. Get a crate, you need one, they are essential for training domesticated dogs. Everytime he does that, in a firm voice tell him NO BAD BOY, then put him in his crate. This just wont happen over night so be patient but make sure you stay consitant.
OH and make sure there is always lots of toys around him, boredom creates chewing, with toys around, he will go to them.

Stop Chewing - Well that will be when it reaches adult hood, as for the biting people, you should stop that straight away, otherwise, you wont have it all that long if it bites later in adult hood. You will loose it to that "sleeping forever" drug.
Staff afterall.
