Cats usually sleep for about 18 to 20 hours a day. Check around to see if there are any chemicals he may have gotten into. If you find anything (including mouse bait, etc), call the vet IMMEDIATELY. If not, he may be reacting to the weather. If it is raining or cold, he may just want to sleep. Try bringing food or a toy over to check for his reaction. If he still seems listless after a little while, call the vet.

Call your vet. If he is old make sure your vet knows. Check the house to see if anything is out of the ordinary and tell your vet that too!

If you think he's sleeping try making a really loud sound continuously to see if he's ok.

If he doesn't respond by opening his eyes and moving his ears then there's something wrong... maybe your body weight accidentally crushed if you rolled over in your sleep.

Has he been using the litter box? has he been eating/drinking? there are many things it could be unfortunately more info is needed...try to play with him with a string or his favorite toy and see if he will play...ultimately he may need to go for a visit to the vet

Sounds like its white count or red is way down. I had to put one of my cats down because of it. Came on suddenly. Take him to the vet asap. Good luck.

take him to the vet immediately. every second counts. They'll be able to tell if your cat is going to be okay.

call a vet. it may be something internal, it may be exhaustion. but still i think a vet should be the one to decide.
