i am serious and shy in nature and but if it comes to me to say something funny, i can makes everyone laugh laud. i am quite unsuccessfull in starting a relationship and it stops in friendship. is it because of being serious? i wonder if girls are attracted to serious guys or to cheeky guys?

Be funny, light-hearted, and compassionate. You have to let the girl know that you are caring, girls do not only like guys that take charge, they also want someone they can talk to, and someone that can take all their troubles away basically..

Personally I like a little of both in a guy. I think this balance comes with age, when I was in my teens I liked a boy who made me laugh and was fun to be with but now I am a "little" older I like someone who I can have fun with but who knows when I need advice or to discuss something with that is important that I will get a balanced view and not a comedy act.
Luckily I have found the right guy and he is just as shy as you. I didn't know he liked me until he left flowers on my car windsheild at work.
You will find someone who likes you for you and then you won't have to try and be less serious or more outgoing if that isn't your nature. Never compromise who you are for someone else's benefit. Just hold out for the right one.

There is a time and a place for everything I'm ssre you can be funny when you want to be the key is to balance your skills. Just be yourself if you start out trying to be someone else you will have to continue to keep her. Be honest and relax. Be confident and respecful. Girls are attracted to all different types of guys but you have to real with yourself and other. If you start off as friends this is the best way sometimes when we see someone we think thats for us then we get in a relationship with them and say was I drinking the nigght I met you? Take your time

Stop thinking too serious until it's like going into a marriage with a gal you just met or fell in love with. Girls dun hate shy guys but they would prefer guys to be a stud and talk confidently.

Girls do not have a sense of humor as guys do. Look a Lucy or Mary Tyler Moore if you want to know what kind of humor they like. Those two genius comediennes/actors connect with everyone. Also, Carol Burnett. Do some homework outside of school - broaden your experience. Good behavior and good humor used to be the norm.

Every body afraid of for the first time. Be bvrave after all you are going to conquer the world if you are able to make relation with any girl.Nobody in this world had done that. To do that you need special courage. Eat nuts, use juices, go to jim, etc...etc..read books on how to make love.

Be easy to be around, be fun. Thinking about things TOO MUCH and worrying and etc can lead you to a great career in which analytical thought is valued, but it does little for your social skills. Respect everyone and have fun. If this girl doesn't like you, you can meet thousands of others, relax and have fun.

seriousness and being funny are BOTH equally important to attract a girl, but confidence, and declaring your desire to be with the girl is the number one factor. you've got nothing to be afraid of .. don't be "too nice" .. you're a male. don't act like that's a mistake. and don't take the "lest's just be friends" crap. it's like you asking a girl to have sex with you for a while until you decide that you love her and can start a relationship with her. you're funny. great... be talkative, be confident. and show no excuse for who you are... and be DIRECT in what you want.

Dont put too much pressure on yourself. I mean dont think you cant do this or that. Just act naturally. Dont think too much. Just be yourself. I mean behave them how you behave to your friend/s in the first place. Be friendly, not very distant or serious!Things will go easier, I think.
