I think you may be to skinny. When I was around your age I weighed 98 pounds at 5'6. I never could get over a 100 pounds and stay there. I am now 32 and I weigh 120 pounds. I finally put this weight on the past couple of years. Anyhow, I feel healthy, I look better and I now get complaments on how I great I look instead of comments of "you need to put some weight on" or my favorite "Are you anorxia, Bulima?"

The media may protray that skinny is sexy but I really believe that men likes a women with a little bit of meat on her bones. Atleast that has been my experience.

If you are just unable to put weight on, don't worry it will come when you get older. (Metablisim will slow down a bit.)

If you are dieting and trying to stay skinny then my advise is to stop. My personal oppinon is that 120 at your height is a tad bit too skinny.

Your ideal weight, even with a small frame, is around 130 pounds...So, you probably are a little slim for your height. I'd recommend gaining a little weight - being too thin can be bad for your health too.

120 at 5'8 is definitely on the thin side. You might want to look at your eating habits. If you find you are losing weight that you don't want to, you might want to consider counseling to help out.

Getting to a healthier weight might help you out in many ways that you don't recognize just yet, like having more energy, being able to stay more comfortable in rooms you used to think as chilly, etc.

5'8 140 sounds a bit on the chunky side for a female...

I assume you're not male. Should you be male; DO SOME ******* PUSHUPS! Respect your body. People can't peer into your soul; they see what you produce for them to see. Don't want to leave a bad impression, do you?

Anywho, no, that's not too skinny. You could gain 10 pounds easy, though. I'd focus on gaining those 10 as MUSCLE, as if you focus on fattening yourself, your physical equilibrium, and you might end up as another fat person we don't need in society. Cheers!

Hey i kind of know what you going through, but in my case I want to loose weight not gain. Just because someone say you look a sertain way you should not try to gain or loose more wieght unless you really want to, but note that it going to be hard to get that wieght back off.

something in the a hundred and ten-one hundred thirty selection is easily wonderful! i'm 6'2 and 115lbs. i'm no longer too skinny. As a teenager, you would be skinny by using fact of your straight away-burning metabolism. do no longer hardship approximately being underweight as a teenager. a much extra severe project in American is being obese.

You do what makes you happy, never do something for anyone else when it comes to oyur own body. Do not lose weight but if you look good and feel good you are fine.
