when we lift up the carpet i sow slide cork under the carpet and it smell like "london dungeon" but when you are in the house you do not really notice that much but when u go out every body can smell it and it so bad what can i do please i can not change the house in next 7 months

USE LOTS OF BICARBINATE OF SODA EVERY WHERE AND LEAVE IT DOWN UNDER THE CARPET

More than likely the carpet needs to be removed and the house aired out. If you rent, then I would contact the landlord and make them do something about it. Otherwise you are stuck with it until you can move.

If you try to put something down under the carpet or on the carpet you may make it worse. When we bought our new house, we had a room that smelled like dog pee and I tried to clean the carpet which made it ten times worse. The carpet salesman told me that what I cleaned with probably interacted with what they cleaned with and made it stink worse So unless you know for sure that nothings already been used on it, you may want to contact the landlord first..

Get rid of the cork. If you're renting complain to the owner's about the problem.

get rid of cork and carpets and lay a laminate floor.are you sure its cork and not wet rot.that has a lingering smell.

Sounds like you may have a mold/mildew problem. Get rid of the carpet and padding and get new. ALL of it. If you are renting tell the landlord about the problem. If he doesnt repair, then report him.
