I am an immigrant since May 2005. Is is possible for me to take further studies in the Philippines (my home country)since it is cheaper. Will my status be revoked should I stay there for at least 4 years for education purposes? What steps should I take? Thank you.

If you are outside the United States for more than 1 year you will lose your immigrant status. You will need to start the whole process over if you want to come back.

How is a degree from the Philippines going to help you in the United States? If there are 10 applicants for a job, 9 with degrees from American colleges and you, who's going to get the job?

By the way, I lived in the Philippines for six and a half years.

you can study in your home country but you will have to see what classes that you may already have taken here will transfer to whatever school you attend there. Also if your going for some type of degree you will have to research the credibility of the school you are going to attend to see if that degree will be validated in the US if you chose to return once you graduate. And I don't see why your status should be revoked at all but would be best to talk maybe to an immigration attorney in regards to that just to be sure. best of luck to you
