Love is something I tried to find. But then I realised that it wasn't worth my time, and that love is really useless. It is gooshy and it looks funny when you hold hands with someone else or make out with them. I wouldn't want to be with someone else 24/7, because that is kind of creepy. I can talk to my dog if I was that lonely. I don't need someone else. It is just stress and giving to someone else, which I hate. And I have no need for sex, as I hate kids, and I have no sex drive, and if I did, I have a hand. So why do people make the mistake of wanting to love someone?

Love is not a mistake...If one can not love, one does not have a heart, or compassion for another. Not to be rude, but you are a very sick and cold person.

lol... my friend. you sound like you have just got broken-heared. and that's pretty normal. but let me ask you this, how did you find out all that was "funny, not worth your time" and all the other things? you tried. why did you try?? you already didn't wanna be with someone 24/7. and you've always had your dog (and your hand too). sex drive exists in EVERY person. unless you're not phisically normal. but love is not just sex. love is sharing, it's not "giving only" though your part is giving. but your loved one also gives to you.. as much. and maybe more.
however, you don't chose to love or not to love. you just fall head over heals in love with someone. before you even realise it.
you will know it when you're there. (remember me then)

Obviously you haven't ever been in love. You don't WANT to, it just happens and it's like being high all the live long day. Another one of natures tricks, like being hungry or thirsty, to make you continue living and continue the species.

Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't, but that's no reason to be Ebeneezer Scrooge about it. Buck up little camper.

I don't think most people really look for love. They get to know someone and wake up one day and realize they can't live w/o the other person because they are so deep in love.

it's human instinct to want to become emotionally attached to someone of the opposite gender, and I figure why try and fight 40000 years of instinct. besides it is a wonderful feeling to love someone, and kids are wonderful, it is always a treat to go to the park and see the kids running around without a care in the world.

Wah, this question really sets my mind thinking. Erm... ...
Maybe people feel that they will be more complete by caring, protecting and loving someone ... Or
Maybe they can't help it when fate and destiny comes along and let them meet and love someone.

wanting/needing someone to actually care, to here someone say 'i love you' is great, but not to mean it is heart breaking, idk if i want LOVE right now, but i want a b/f someone who cares bout me, someone i can care about, can talk to on the phone at night right before i go to sleep, to cuddle up next to and watch a movie, or keep me warm when its cold, to tease me in a flirty way(kinda cute sometimes, as long as its not constant)... a shoulder to cry on when theres been a family/friend illness/death, but it wouldnt start as love, maybe later turn into love, but love is a strong word, and shouldnt be said unless you mean it... and sometimes someone can get hurt because of love.... why you think its called 'FALLING IN LOVE'
