Invisalign only works for a select few individuals out of the many, many patients who could benefit from orthodontic treatment. With that said, the amount of experience that an orthodontist has with Invisalign can make a big difference whether he/she is comfortable using it in borderline cases. With conventional braces, the doctor has the ability to put forces in virtually any direction necessary as your teeth move and your treatment needs change. With Invisalign, the direction of forces is limited. Not having seen your teeth and xrays, I obviously don't know for sure. What I would be cautious of though is a quick/esthetic/easy fix that may only mask your orthodontic problems with a decent esthetic result, but give you teeth/jaw problems down the road. You should also realize that you will probably be in braces for longer than you were told. That's just the way it goes.
Lastly, Invisalign almost always costs more than braces. This is because there is a 3rd party involved in making the appliances that change every couple of weeks (the laboratory). They need to be paid for their services to the dentist that is helping you. I hope this helps.

Only a qualified dentist can answer your question, after examining your mouth.
Invisalign is not effective in all cases, but where it is recommended, it works very well.
It may cost LESS than traditional braces, depending on where you go. Check out qualified general dentists who have lots of experience with Invisalign. That's the best way to save money and still get excellent results.

invisalign is only for a few people and doesnt always work. i had a friend and she spent a lot of money on the treatment, and it only helped her minor problems, she still in the end had to get braces. and braces arent that bad, today many people have them there not uncommon. but its best to talk to your dentist and get his opinion on whats best for your teeth, its the only set you get, you want to take care of them.

If your teeth aren't that bad and pretty much already straight - invisalign would be well worth it. Won't hurt as much and you won't get the metal tracks on your teeth.
Braces if your teeth are all a mess and if you have gaps.
