the other day i was just sitting around then i stood up and my tail bone just started hurting. i havent fallen on it or anything. so i sat on a heating pad for a bit and the pain went a away. but then i was sitting again and i crossed my legs and i felt a POP and it began to hurt reeeeally bad and now even the heating pad wont stop it. wut could be wrong with me??

You really need to see a doctor. It could be a cyst, or it could be a herniated disk. You need Xrays and MRIs to know for sure. Go soon!

You could have herniated or bulged a disc in your lower back or you could have a pinched nerve. I have a couple of bulging discs in my lower spine and one in my neck and 2 herniated discs in my neck with a pinched nerve (car accident). You could just try rest and Aleve (Naproxin) and see if the pain goes away. If it doesn't, you can try a chiropractor or go to a pain management doctor and receive cortisone shots in your spine (they don't hurt). If you see a doctor, they may send you for an MRI to help diagnose the true problem. I'm sorry to hear that you hurt- back and neck pain sucks.
