I think she is just being honest. She could have erased them from the computer, but not from her mind. But she has you now and they are just memories, a part of her past. But you are her present! If she did not love you, she would not be with you, I think.

Old e-mails, like old pictures, old letters and old toys from childhood, are just that, old memories and reminders of a different time and life. The biggest problem may not be that she keeps them (unless of course she's still carrying a torch) but how you react. A mature response is much better than a tantrum, worrying or jealousy. If they mean nothing, grow up and accept that you're not the first man in her life: worry and create a scene and surely you'll not be the last one! Keep in mind, she's not property... you don't own her.

I'm 40 and still have letters from a girlfriend I dated back when I was 19, though she was a very gifted artist and drew some fantastic pictures on each and every envelope.
Women like keeping things like this, you're doing the right thing by not reading, trusting and loving her. You are a good b/f.

Everyone has somthing they don't want to let go of it could just be a simple good memory of the past, the e-mails may just be there for the good times she had but that does not mean she wants to be with that person its you shes with now and thats where your focus should be on you and her, the question you should ask is DO I TRUST HER? if yes then don't question her way of doing things it will just ruin your relationship.

I really would not worry. My girlfriend still had e-mails from ex's. I brought it up, we fought about it, and nothing resulted from it. She finally deleted them on her own. It just took a while. I think if you trust her, have confidence that she is telling you the truth and she really doesn't talk to them, and I am sure she will delete them. Good Luck, I hope this helps.

I have never heard of this woman. But I get several emails just like this one on a weekly basis. This is another example of a Scam Email. Do not send any of your info to this person.

This sounds more like sentimentality than sparks. There are more than one former love interest (Based on what I read in your question) which is what leads me to my belief. As long as you don't see any signs of her currently cheating, or being deceptive, I don't think you have any worries.

Back in the old days, lots of people saved old love letters. If she doesn't contact them anymore, it's no threat to you. She just likes the way they made her feel special.

Maybe she wants to remember those times. I'm married and I still have letters from a high school boyfriend. It's just nice to reminisce sometimes.

Maybe it means something, maybe not. I don't think you need to worry.....it's strange she doesn't erase them, but that doesn't mean she has a thing for him still. Ask her if she still communicates with him....if she says yes...something's going on. But you won't know unless you ask and it will bug you until you ask!!!
