i love the neiborhood it is quiet and nice, the house is awesome, but in this neiborhood, neibors arent very interactive. i have no friends. im an only child and i have a dog, but teh only thing she does is sleep!!!!!!!!!! what do i do????????? i live in potomac md, on travilla road----------any girls around 13? i need some1 close to my age to hang with.

umm first off why do u give where u live on the internet with complete strangers...dont u know that is dangerous...besides idont think u can meet friends like that u have to make the effort outside **** like this girl can lead to online predators....

I moved just about 5 or 6 weeks ago. I also haven't really mixed with the locals. In fact just over 1 week ago I was attacked for no reason whatsoever. I also have moved into a bigger better home though. So all I can suggest is that you mix with only the good people in your area, trying to keep away from the bad ones. And with the age of the internet it is so easy to mix with good people all over the world, so where you actualy live has even less significance.

Join a sports team after school. That is a great way to meet people and make friends, even if you can't play.
Go to the public library.
Join a church.
Do chores for neighbors (to make money); you can meet like minded kids that way as well.

Perhaps you can take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood. Dogs normally love to go for walks. It would be good for you both.
