Check your owners manual, some power windows have a manual hand crank to roll them up.
If not then.
If you are up to it you need to remove the door panel. Their should be a number of fasteners holding the panel plus a few screws around the door arm rest and door latch. They are difficult to find. Once the door panel is of there should be a plastic foil protecting the inside of the door panel, most often this is held in by a non drying glue, carefully peel this back so that you can look into the car door frame. Either your window came of track or (If the window motor works) the part of the mechanism form the window motor to the window regulator broke.
The window should travel in a track, with the widow regulator. It looks and works somewhat like a large pair of scissors. Find the motor and carefully activate the motor to check the the gear and sprockets turn with the motor. Be sure to stay out of its way. Sometimes the actual window glass may have pulled out of its base. But with the panel open you should be able to push the window closed until you can visit a mechanic.

I've worked on Jeeps before, sound like the teeth on the window regulator maybe broken. Or the window came off the track(sides of the door) and the regulator itself came off window track(a track which is attached to the bottom of the glass). I hope I didn't confuse you. But either way its fairly simple. BUT do not try to repair it you're self. Unless you want to loose your hands or some fingers. The regulator is spring loaded( under A LOT of pressure), if you don't know what you're doing you could loose your bodily parts. The springs tension is usually over two hundred pounds and the regulator arms are VERY SHARP. After all this take your Jeep to a shop.

it sounds like the window fell off the track. you will have to take the door panel off to see if you can get the window back on the track the put the window up and hopefully it will stay up
