No most dogs do get in a tie but some dont and still get pregnant. Even the ones that do don't always get pregnant. One of the German Shepherds that I show got in a tie with her mate Mavric and is not pregnant.

Dog won't always get stuck when they mate. Breeding doesn't refer to the actual sex act, it refers to the act of mating dog with another dog and falling pregnant and giving birth to the pups.

There does not HAVE to be a tie for pregnancy to occur. Most often there is, but just because there is not a tie, pregnancy cannot be excluded.

And it is spelled BREEDING.

yes always. i have breed one of my dogs for ten years. they have always got stuck. that is how they insure the pregnancy.

They should.. it's there way of creating heat so the sperm won't die and it make sure it stays in.
