Having great trouble, inserting these supposirorys.
What's the best position, for her to be in?
How can myself, and someone else restrain her ?
She really needs them for a medical condition. But she always screams, and SQUIRMS LOADS !!

what they do in he hospital is put her on her left side and have her curl her knees up to her chest...almost like in the fetal postition...what you do is have another person hold her behind her knees and behind her neck...(have her chin bent to her chest)..this will really prevent her from squiriming and then giver her the suppository...she'll scream but it will only last a few seconds so just let her scream...

The problem, you are facing with your small daughter while using suppositories are very common all over the world.

Usually, the supine position (to lie on back) is be best position for introducing suppositories.
The easiest and the most common suggestion for this problem is- push the suppository inside rectum (if possible, after defication of the child) and hold the two buttocks tightly opposite to each other by hand for 5-7 minutes so that the suppository is melted inside by the heat of the body. Then even if the child pushes it out, most of the medicine remains inside and get absorbed.
To restrain the child from screaming, you may try with showing some exciting cartoon films or other exciting (to the child) visual activities. Let us, hope the best.

it shouldndt be that hard to hold down a 3 year old. get one person to hold and the other to insert.
