You seem to be thinking and writing more about the atheists than the god himself..

About four to twenty thousand years ago, before written language was available, the smartest people of the time asked each other where we came from, and immediately assumed that something smarter and greater than them must of created us. They started making up stories to tell each other, and after generations of this happening, those stories became "true" to the people who had heard them their whole lives.

The stories from the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) that you believe are some of these stories. This doesn't mean that there might not have been some kind of supreme being that created the unverse, but you must separate your concept of "god" from the myths of the Bible before we can have a rational discussion.

Why would seeing a big universe convince you there's a god? If anything, the very fact that there are billions of planets out there is evidence that there isn't a god. After all, why would he create a huge universe, most of which we can't even see? It would be ridiculous for a god to create so much, when we only need one planet, one sun. And why create supernovae and black holes?
If you ask me, the vastness of the universe just goes to show how random the universe is, and how small an element of it we are. Neither of those facts suggests a creator.

Everyone is different. Some people like cheese, some hate it. I like it but I hate Stilton. Some people seem destined to believe in God, some seem destined to not. I think some are made athiests. It is fine, valid, it is their outlook. Just like some cannot imagine themselves a Muslim or a Hindu and some cannot imagine being anything other.

The universe is not evidence for the existence of any deity.

You're making the claim that because the universe exists, therefore god exists. That's a huge -- and unsupportable -- leap of logic.

Actually seeing this big universe and all the diversity in it is exactly why I do not believe in any god(s).

"Why does some people don't believe in God?"

That's priceless. Aside from the fact that the poor grammar made my eye twitch trying to read that, it's a rather foolish question.

What does seeing the universe have to do with fairy tales and imaginary friends?

The unbelievers are also God' children, God created all of us, and gave us free will. Their choice is not to believe , and until God calls them they will remain unbelievers. They spend much time denying God their Creator. The conversion of Saul is a good example to read and how Saul the persecutor of Christians, became Paul, and became the servant of the Lord. Trust in the promise " every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." In Gods time they too will be called, their eyes will be opened, and they will believe. Include the unbelivers in your prayers . Merry Christmas

Just look at the answer from a Christian zealot above-I don't want to be part of any religion or system of belief that produces warped and damaged human beings like that.

People become smarter from day to day, we think and act logically, not to become mythologist. That why some of them do not trust god.
