I'm a Christian, I'm not too swift with the Muslims and don't think much of the Quarn personally, but I don't think any book should be descecrated.

Even outdated Science books that say Pluto is a planet.

Books are our legacy, good, bad or indifferent.

All this shows is how profound Ray Bradbury was in 451

Well, here are a few:

- reading material: it is literature, so analyse and criticise it, don't abuse it

- science: it has many scientific arguments, most of which are striking and daring as they were so far ahead of their time

- morals: not many of those around these days! we would all be better people if we could assimilate the morals of the content of the Qur'an into our behaviour and dealings with others

I don't like it when people are offensive and abusive about other people's beliefs - it shows intolerance and ignorance, which let's face it, is pitiable and very low .. especially when it comes from adults, who really should know better

If you disagree with something, then you need to ask yourself why that is, and provide some rationale as to why - dismissing other people's beliefs with no reasoning is just creating conflict and resentment ... everyone wants their beliefs to be respected, so we should ask ourselves why would we want to breed ill feelings between each other??

Well well.. that's not very "Christian" of you. Christians are supposed to "love thy neighbours."

I'm sure you'll be on Santa's naughty list this year.
