Sorry, we don't get out of here till the last amoeba attains enlightenment.
Judging from the answers some of the so-called chosen people are giving this could take quite a while.
Contrary to popular belief God is not going to let us quit till everyone figures out the way to get back home.
The fantasy about hell is just a lie about God that was made up to give a few holier than thou's someone to feel better than. God loves us too much to let a single soul become lost.
Love and blessings Don

IF you read prophesy of the scrciptures, everything that is going on in the world seems to be happening. The last generation is the fig tree, and when the fig tree blossoms time is sopposed to exselerate and population and knowledge are suppose to exelerate in the last 100 years.
In about less then 100 years we went from horse buggies to space shuttles. In the beggining of the Rennasance 1400 A.D. Population of the world was 60 Million, now it is 6 billion. that is less then 500 years.
Last but not least, The Jewish are considered the Olive tree. Prophesy states that the last generation will be hear after the olive tree regrows its branhes and spreads out and becomes a nation again. This happened in 1948 when Isreal became a nation once again, tribulations is soon to come.
I could tell you more Prophesy such as the start of the war begins in Babalon (Iraq) And from this, the armies from the East will invade Juruselim by crossing the Ephraties river whis in Revelation it is stated that the river will be dried up. In southern Iraq, the river had been damned up by Saddam Husien to cut off the water supply to the Shite, Sounds like what Revelation says is going to Happen.
Read Mathew Chpt. 24. It starts out when Jesus got mad in the temple for selling in the church, he goes out to the court yard and the deciples ask him how they will know when the end times come.
THere will be wars and roumors of war (war on terrorism) but it is not time yet. This chapter will tell you everything that is going to happen when the end times come.
Revlation all of it
Mathew
Book of Daniel Old testament
Book of Isieah
Zacharia
Amos
Jeramiah
Revelation and Daneil will tell you about the future from their past.
excuse the mispelled words, my speel check isn't working
Jesus also states at the beggining of Mathew Chpt 24, He looks at the temple and states, " See all of these stones in the Temple, not one stone shall be standing upon another." The Temple is no more, but the whaling wall still stands, when that wall comes down, that will be the end times.

It is hard not to believe
Mainworry has stated a lot of it. The biggest point is Israel and the fact that they are a nation again. Watch them, they will NEVER have peace, but they will also never be conquered. Iran is calling for their complete destruction but they will never be able to do it because God won't let it happen.
Just watch the news as the bible says the end will be like the time of Noah when the earth was filled with violence. Everywhere violence is increasing. Diseases that we have never heard of before and even diseases we thought were conquored are making a come back..
Just too much to list..
Remember when on yahoo answers people were making fun of Pat Robertson's predictions of storms in the Northwest of the US, well look at the weather now.. I used to live there and can only remember once when I was little that we had that amount of snow. This whole planet is having violent weather changes and the polar ice caps are disappearing. All we need is a nuclear war to really warm the planet up, right?
Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

The bible refers to the "end times" as the time between the first and second coming of Christ. So we have been in the "end times" for 2000 years.

Time is relevant. From what I understand it has always been the end of times. From medieval loar up to current day chatter. Why, because it is a huge fear and people try to cope with it by making it real. I don't think we will see the end of times until China decides to enter a war and nukes. Revelations states that great fires will be seen from the east.

No, it is not.
I've gone through most of them and I can easily tell you they are not prophecies. All they accomplish, all they were intended to accomplish, is to give all the little believers the thought that some day everyone not like them will pay and they'll get their reward they worked so very hard for.
Which since Christian end times should have occurred a little under 2000 years ago(if you can find a 2000 year old roman legionary, I'll talk to him) kinda points to that nice falsehood in the entire idea.

No.
Every generation sees theirs as the last. Every century, someone predicted the 'end times' and guess what? Things just kept on truckin' along. Do you know why? Because the people who actually use their brains and hope and work for a better tomorrow, actually succeeded in improving the lives of future generations. And they will continue to do so.

time will end for humans
when the sun dies out and turns into a black hole
that is unless nasa can find another solar system to move us into wwith live-able conditions
or the time may come sooner if a hugh f-n meteor hits earth and kills all of us
but nothing going on strange today that will wipe us out
unless some crazy man blows everyone up with nukes or some ****** up poisons. but that be pretty difficult to kill the entire planet at once and kill everyone
dont you think scientist are stupid for making that ****
the ones invented those crazy bombs are awared and payed
but they are truely evil to create such devises
humans are so screwy

There are many verses/passages in the Holy Bible where end of times are stated. In fact almost all prophets talk about these things because they are warnings signs for the unbelievers.
examples are: 2Peter 3:1-18, the Revelations book, etc.etc.etc.
