Its the same type of game as 'pull a pig' and 'grab a grandad'. Basically they see who can pull the ugliest or oldest person. The people playing might think its fun, especially after they've had a few pints, but its not very nice for the unsuspecting recipients who are just trying to enjoy themselves.

Not that it would ever happen to you, its when a group of morons try to chat up the ugliest woman in the club. Probably the only time its good to be a loser!!

Blokes in large groups or on a stag night play it. Buy her drinks and see how grateful she is, they can sometimes have a bet on aswell, point score it on snog, phone number then perhaps a shag if they really want to humiliate her!

From the look of your avatar, nobody will ever play it with you. We used to call it "Grab a Grunt".
Rules are simple: buncha guys out drinking, clubbing, whatever - compete to see who can "pick-up" the ugliest girl. Winner gets free beers all night at the expense of his buddies.
A good way to deal with it is:
If you're getting way far too much over-the-top attention from a guy who's obviously got a bunch of mates watching, just ask him "You lot are playing grab-a-grunt, aren't you?"
"Yes".
"So are we, and I just won"
