I wouldnt worry too much , animals particularly in the same household have to be allowed to interact , if the puppy plays a little rough then the cat will normally show its displeasure in the way that cats do which is usually a crystal clear message to the dog to back off.

I have the opposite problem at home with an adult dog having a kitten jumping on it. My dog is learning to tell her when to leave him alone. When she/he feels like it she/he will eventually tell him off and when that happens don't encourage the dog by reprimanding the cat for it. She will probably tell him forcefully. If she doesn't have claws then it will probably include biting but if she does just beware the dog will have scratches. The cat typically rules the house so let her take her own time in sorting the dog out and if she doesn't then talk to your vet and reprimand the dog for jumping on her. They will soon learn to play so just relax.

When the puppy does this, give a stern "NO" and push him off the cat. You can put 6-7 pennies in a pop can and tape it shut, and every time the puppy does this shake the can. Dogs hate the sound.
He needs to start obedience training now. Otherwise he will be an out of control little hellion. Check in your community for classes.

the puppy has no manners and must be taught... either the cat will swat him a few times or YOU must disapline and teach him
if he hasnt gone to Obedience lessons then that is a MUST.. when the cat is around have the dog pay 100% attention to YOU.. use lots of positive rewards (soft treats) so the dog knows if it pays attention to you it gets food... as soon as the dog jumps on the cat..you must disapline it... grab it very fast pull it to the ground and say "NO" firmly then let the dog go.. and ignore it for a while...
keeping the dog on leash will help

We had exactly the same problem when we brang our jrt x yorkie home as a pup she would jump on him and hound him pin him down everything. We always told her no and seperated them for a while but to be honest she never stopped there would be the odd ocasion when they would curl up together on the rug or on our lap but it was rare times. If you have a cat who wont take no nonsence then a short swipe at your pup from your cat normally puts them in there place, our other cat did this with our pup and she never touched him but our younger cat was so soft he let her dominate him.Sadly now both our cats have died, and we got another pup who is now doing the same thing to her as she did our cat.She also now hates cats even though she was bought up with them lol.Good luck sorry i cant offer no other advice

By annoy im guessing he trying to " show him a good time?" lol
Thats just dominace behaviour, hes showing the cat whos boss.
its gonna happen till its sorted in the dogs head, if you shout at him to stop he'll just do it when you not looking lol
Perverts eh lol
Either the cat will get sick and warn the pup or the pup well think, i think he got the message. OR he'll grow out of it, whichever happens first.

Dont!! It is a way a cat and dog interact, my cat and dog did exactly the same, when they were young and continued to play like that up into their old age. If either get bored they let each other know.
