Be careful, the emotional bond that comes from sitting in front of a computer screen and reading the written word and hearing a voice on a telephone is no substitute for spending real time with a person. I believe that only time will tell.
It is easy to get attached to an idea of love, when alone and tired. Hooking up on the Internet or on the phone is only a start. Good luck, my friend.

No, you cannot fall in love... you could develop strong interests and an attraction to the person, but love comes from togetherness... you may still be able to fall in love with him if you meet him.
Over the phone/internet you discover similar attractive qualities, maybe you like the same music, fancy the same foods, whatever... but love comes from sharing and being together, and doing things jointly... how he kisses, holding hands, and so forth.

I don't think you can fall in love with someone you’ve never met, but you can accumulate strong feelings for them. You may confuse those strong feelings as love but you won't know for sure if you truly love him until you meet him in person and find out who he really is and how he acts. There are a lot of things that you will never know about a person until you meet them.

Thats really beautiful and I think you can. But in the long run, you're going to have to think about how you will make the relationship work and whether he really is who he says he is. You might have just fell in love with the person he's made himself out to be.

No because you can never tell when your talking to a person if they are lying or not. they might be lying about their age and every thing else. if you have a picture, are you sure its the real guy??? and long distance relationships are hard to workout.

yes you can my husband and i have been together for 5 years and we are very happy. we started out that way and sex or anything else was not involved we got to know each as friends and it grew but not in person
