I usually pay over $100 for my higlights and i gave in and went to this ladys basement becasue my mom said she would pay...so...
We went and my mom went first and while i was waiting in this person DISGUSTING basement i was watching the 1 yr. old baby becasue no one was watching her and she had a leaky diaper on my lap...THEN the husband comes down who is HUGE and was wearing gross pants with holes in the crotch and sits at the computer 2 feet from the hair stylying chair and plays on the computer really lound with music while the 3 kids are running around AND there was a babysitter!!
So then it is my turn and i am horrified at this point. I tell her that i changed my mind and i dont want a haircut all i wanted was my roots done...simple, right? I have simple blonde highlights with about 2 inches of outgrowth ( it grows fast). While she is putting foils in, this is when the husbend starts coming down and pressuring her to "Hurry UP" so they could go bowling! My mother and i were ust giving eachother the eye in shock! He wouldnt stop telling her she had to finish in 15 min. and telling her that she is taking too long. It usually takes the salon over 1 hr. to put in all of my foils...it took her 25 min!! So then i am done and she sends us home (during the first blizzard of the year) with wet hair!!
I get home, dry it, and she did nothing to my hair. I still had these dark roots with really dark highlights...it looks awful!!
I dont want to go back even though she offered...i am scared for life!!

Yes, this happened three times in my life. Once on my birthday. I had my hair really curly and my Mom treated me to a surprise salon visit. Since I had my hair curled very tightly the idiot stylist dumbly assumed that my hair was short and then she cut off about 6 inches of my hair. After many tears, I had to admit it was a cute style.
The second time was for prom. I think that lady didn't like me.
The last time was last year, 3 months before my wedding when my fiance was out of town for one month. I went to my sister, a stylist and asked her to cut my long hair into a nice cut so I could stop wearing ponytails and bangs or just ponytails everyday. So she proceeded to cut off 8-10 inches of my long hair and I ended up with the ugly cut I had 4 years earlier that inspired me to grow my hair long. I wanted to throw her off a cliff. I needed a drink and a smoke and I don't smoke nor do I drink. My fiance had to think I'd duped him all that time, but thank goodness, my hair is mostly grown back by now.
Yeah, I'll bawl in a minute if you mess up my hair, which is why I end up doing it myself most of the time. Thank God for hair weave to correct disasters nowadays.

I had to study this one! i'm a hairstylist! for 25 yrs, and that i've got considered and had to repair my share of different stylists failures...to the lady whos hair became frosted and it went undesirable by using getting it executed too quickly after ur toddler became born, no longer! the bleach became too reliable, and decrease than warmth in simple terms melted ur hair, stylist errors... if u have a bad adventure, circulate back or call the single that did it and ***** yet i would not advise permitting them to do it back! in the event that they screwed up the 1st time wut makes u think of they are in a position to repair it?? u would ought to pay somebody else extra effective cuz for me corrective colour centers are extra complicated to handle, yet getting it suitable is what concerns the main. a physically powerful hairstylist provides you with a unfastened consultation and choose what's the terrific answer. in my opinion, undesirable haircuts are no excuse in our industry, if u cant decrease u in the incorrect biz!!

Yes!! I wanted to get an inch removed from my hair and my color to match my roots. I specifically mentioned NO RED. My hair turned very much red and the stylist hacked at least 4 inches off my hair. I bawled for hours!!
