I wondered if this good girl friend liked me by her actions, so I asked her if she was flirting with me. She said no, and we discussed being more than friends. She brought it up several times, and eventually I told her I want to be friends, but I could see myself with a girl like you. She laughed it off then and changed subjects. Anyway, since then, we have become closer and closer, and now she jokes and touches me like I am her boyfriend. We are still friends, but it seems as if we are now close friends. Is our friendship growing, or is it something more that is growing?

Why do some people bother answering??? Okay, here is what I see...you seem to be very interested in this girl or you would most likely be asking how to avoid a bad situation. Is something growing? Either friendship or more will grow depending on which is nurtured. (I am not saying profess undying love...yet) If you only want friendship, you have it, continue life but don't allow misunderstanding (be careful and good luck). If you want more, simply allow nature to advance your relationship as your bond grows. You sound like a likely mate for this girl or she would have clued you in since you are close friends. To finish, I think if you are that close to this girl, go after her (MY opinion). Too few are the people we can bond so well with. Best of luck.
