Here we go again....you cannot love someone you know very little about. You can love the "concept" of what they have to offer or what they had to say but you have no idea who this person really is. How does he sleep? Does he snore or slobber in his sleep? Is he a pig? Does he drool when he eats" Pick his nose? Etc. Get the picture? There are many issues which make people realize how they really feel. This is why the divorce rate is so high from those who marry too soon. They do not pay attention to the small details which bother them. Then it all adds up.
Therefore, your idea of "love" is simply one of two things. Being in love with the concept of love or simple infatuation.
Get to know someone a long time before you can really determine if you love them.

You can fall in 'like' or even 'lust' at first meeting but not love. Love is deeper than that and takes to time to realise that no matter what happens you want to be with this one person. Of course as people grow and change you can fall out of love as well! p.s. feeling like you're in love is excellent, whether its the real thing or not, make the most of it.

Yes, you can definitely fall in love with someone on first site but I would think that would have been based on the physical appearance rather than the internal beauty and actual person.

Yes why not.Haven't u heard of the phrase,"Love at first site".Love can happen at any time,any place and with anyone.If that person's thoughts and likes / dislikes match urs or if they don't match,u may get attracted.Remember,"Opposites attract".But take it easy.Don't be in a hurry for anything, it may cause u pain later if he / she isn't the right guy / girl.

The argument for or against the idea that there can be love at first sight has gone of for years and years all over the world.
The chances of you finding out on Yahoo Answers is doubtfull.
There certainly is lust at first sight.

Yup that can happen & in that case it wud be called:"love from first sight".But actually I don't believe in this because from the 1st time,u can't determine whether to love the person or not.Maybe u wud be fascinated by the person but not real love.

No . Love is a very serious affair and shd be treated as such.
Falling in love in the first meeting is either ''physical attraction or lust'' , that could easily '' wear - off'' in /after subsequent meetings.

i do i believe u can know alot about a person the first 5 minutes u meet them cuz those values and traits u see will last the whole time u know them that is if they are true to them..and not just puttin on a show
