when u go into an interview with them if the chance comes up about ur record or about ur past just be like i know ive gotten in alot of trouble before but the past is behind me ive learned my lessons and im on my way of bettering myself for me and my family...this is why im choosing to do this. If it doesnt come up maybe u should bring it up in an interview or something just so they wont be shocked when they find out.

There are jobs out there that hire ex-cons, my husband used to work with some and to tell the truth I worried about him. They weren't bad guys (most charges were drug related) but who can say what friends might have showed up at his work? The best suggestion I have would be to be up front with your potential employer and let them know you are turning over a new leaf and would like to be given the chance. As far as I know, you can't be turned away just because your an ex-con. Just hang in there and the right job will come along.

Girl, depending on what you were convicted of you can still get a good job. I work at a well known cell phone company and we have plenty who work in the call centers. Don't let you past keep you down. Raise above it. I know you can. Good Luck

Your doing great! Don't stop trying. Face it- yu did Big Boo-Boo! Many people are going to turn away from that! As a side-line can you start a small business- where people don't need to know of your That background. Can you cook a particular dish, pie, can you mend clothes, walk dogs, and help elderly people by grocery shopping? Don't stop trying=- just explore and do- do- do- GIRL!

Stop worrying. There have been inmates that earned their GED and learned a trade while in prison. Now that you've served your time to society, you have your future to look forward to. Sometimes things in life don't always turn out the way we want or expect them too. When that happens, redirect yourself and resort to Plan B.

i am trying not to judge you. you have obviously made at least one mistake in your life. you have apparently paid your debt to society. the punishment should end there but people see it differently. you need to keep trying to improve (regardless what others may say or think). just hang in there and show your best image.
