That when you find out that your son had sex for the first time you are secretly proud?? Why?? Is it an accomplishment in your eyes??

Would you side with your wife in the case of my other ?(which please answer) and be happy on the inside??
Why are you ok with your son having sex but never want your daughter to??
Be honest.

I asked my hubby on this one and this is what he said
He would be openly proud. And he says that it's because you want your son to grow up and be a man, but you don't want your daughter to grow up and be a women. Because she will always be daddy's little girl.

Makes sense to me

I would say that its true. As sick as it is. My brothers and I had completely different rules. The boys were encouraged to be "boys". Then my parents would turn around and try to shelter my sister and I from the "boys" because they acted like that.
Now that I have a boy and girl, I have noticed my husband trying to take the same approach. Its a pathetic double standard. As a mother, if I found out my son was treating women in that manner, then an std or teen pregnancy would be the least of his problems!

Fathers aren't secretly proud, they are OPENLY proud. A couple of pats on the back and then they leave the room to share details...disgusting...
