well dogs are not suppose to have chocolate for 2 reasons: 1. it really spoils their teeth causing very bad breath, and 2. they get bad diarrhea. the dog will be fine, it is toxic, but its not a MAJOR problem. if you notice anything strange with her health, take her to the vet. you might want to have her drink some cool water though, that usually helps clear out the chocolate. just be careful not to give your dog chocolate, and any human food is just as bad. she will be fine, don't worry, its rare that anything fatal would evolve from eating chocolate, my dog ate a big chocolate & he was fine after a few days of stomach aces & bad flatulence :/

you should keep a close eye on her for a couple of days just to make sure she will be alright and if anything strange happens then take her to the vet and yes chocolate is toxic to dogs make sure that she doesn't get a hold on any more

Hi Jamie!! Don't panic!!!....your dog will be fine, !!!
You should call the vet ASAP, before anything gets!
I don't envy you one bit .
You will notice very quickly if there are any problems (anxiety, pacing, hyperexcitability, excessive thirst and urination, vomiting, or seizures): call your vet immediately and tell him or her what type of chocolate your dog ate, how much you think it ate, how long ago it indulged itself, and how much your dog weighs.
I hope this is helpful:
White chocolate: 200 ounces per pound of body weight. It takes 250 pounds of white chocolate to cause signs of poisoning in a 20-pound dog, 125 pounds for a 10-pound dog.
Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog; one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take 2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet chocolate has a similar toxic level.
Sweet cocoa: 0.3 ounces per pound of body weight. One-third of a pound of sweet cocoa is toxic to a 20-pound dog; 1/6 pound for a 10-pound dog.
Baking chocolate: 0.1 ounce per pound body weight. Two one-ounce squares of bakers' chocolate is toxic to a 20-pound dog; one ounce for a 10-pound dog.

YEs, it can be. DIffretn breeds are more sensitive to it. I know my dog can eat it and be fine, but i have read stories about dogs eating just a little and being sick...

Don't worry, it will be fine. If you still worry, go see a veterinarian.
