BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup Coca-Cola
½ cup A-1 Steak Sauce
1 cup Ketchup
½ tsp Onion Powder
¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
½ tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Liquid Smoke
½ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Recipe

Combine all the ingredients in a heavy, non-reactive saucepan and gradually bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat slightly to obtain a gentle simmer. Simmer the sauce until reduced by a quarter, 6-8 minutes. Use right away or transfer to a large jar, cover, cool to room temperature, and refrigerate.

Melt a stick of butter in a baking pan in a 350 degree F. oven. Don't let it burn.
Remove from oven. Add about 4 tablespoons of paprika; enough to make a medium thick paste. Thin with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. Dip chicken pieces in paste, turn skin side up. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 30 minutes, turn and baste. Return to oven, bake until juices run clear.
Serve with rice, salad, and bread.

Tomato puree, honey, salt, pepper, chilli sauce, worcester sauce, soy sauce, garlic, herbs/spices, lemon/lime juice (or vinegar).

Well that's what I use, but the ratios change every time.

As long as you have tomato puree/ketchup, honey (for stickyness), the juice or vinegar for sourness, and enough seasoning you won't go far wrong.
