Looking for someone who may remember the artist?

This will sound vague but please hang in there with me. I am looking for the name of the artist who's work looked like this:
One was a family in a living room. Four or five family members doing whatever they do. One was a child playing piano. ALSO in the painting were ghost like people from the families of the past who also lived in the house. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

It does sound familiar. Charles L. Peterson painted a lot of domestic scenes with ghosts in them. I recall one with a ghost playing a piano and another with ghosts at the kitchen table. Worth looking into.
